Beautiful Baby Bump - Natalie's Maternity Session

      Baby bumps are a beautiful thing!! When it was me and I was in my third trimester, nearing the end, I didn't quite feel that way about it, but it is a marvelous wonder! Creation! How we learn so much about One who cares for us through the birth of a child!! Such a sweet session. Everything about it was beautiful. 
      I cannot find the words to adequately express how I feel about baby bumps, being a mother myself. There is something so wonderful and breath taking about carrying a little babe within you that changes your life the way nothing else ever could. There is a love that grows and a bond that is made that spans forever. This is not a political post at all, but there is far too little being said today about the value and beauty of a human life inside the womb. Oh! I could go on and on about this session, about the beautiful momma, and the fun loving sweet kiddos, and about this precious life that was welcomed to out world this morning, but I won't. I'm going to look at my little ones, kiss them on the cheek and whisper "I love you" in their ears. I am going to enjoy my precious gifts and let you enjoy a little of Natalie...

Member of the 2014 Graduating Class - Justin's Senior Session

      When I was asked to do Justin's senior photos, I was extremely excited!! I was glad to be able to get a senior session done so early in the school year. I also knew it might be a bit of a challenge. I don't know too many senior guys, or guys in general, that like to have their pictures taken. When the session started I knew it was going to go well! When my subject begins to feel comfortable in front of the camera, to me, that is success!!
      Justin is a great young man from a wonderful family. He has so much in store for him as he finishes his last year of his high school education. He is gifted and he is blessed. There is a certain excitement that high school seniors carry about them that I wish I could bottle up and keep on hand when I need a little "pick me up"in the week. They love where they are and look forward to what is next. That excitement together with the right things put into their lives yields a power God will surely use for His glory. To the next step...Enjoy a little of Mr. Sullivan...

From This Day Forward - Wedding Portraits at Dara's Garden in Knoxville

Michael and Audra,    

      Oh! These two! I loved everything about this session. The rain on Michael and Audra's wedding day made it impossible for them to have their pictures taken outdoors after their ceremony. Can you imagine?? On your wedding day, you have all these pictures but none of just the two of you?! That hurt my heart when I heard that. I'm so glad we were able to get some shots for them. Such a wonderful couple.

 I've known the bride for a few years now, since our college days. She means so much to me! And to boot, she found a wonderful man to spend forever with. This shoot was especially sweet for me. Weddings are so sweet and special!! I'm so glad I had the privilege of playing a small role in the sweet memories these two will cherish forever. What a joy for me! 

This beautiful location - Dara's Garden - the folks were so sweet in working with us in allowing us to take these photos there. I hope to visit this location more often for photos. If you need an event or wedding venue that is beautiful and private with a wonderful and professional staff, this is definitely the place!!   

Forever and ever is a long time to love, but these two - they will. Thank you Michael and Audra and may I wish you many years of love and happiness ahead! :)
